We include the whole family in our ABA programs. We meet with the family for an initial evaluation before services begin to gather information and seek input for the program development. Our behavior analysts will often provided service recommendations during this or at the first parent meeting, which will occur within the first 1-2 weeks of service. This meeting includes going over the assessment, program information and behavior plan if applicable. We then promote for parents to meet monthly with the behavior analysts. Parents are welcome to visit and observe at anytime as we have observation rooms available at each location. We also provide parent tips and training during these meetings, or even at your home upon request.
We begin each therapy day at 8:30 AM, “building brighter futures” by greeting our patients and their families with a smile. Upon arrival, your child can expect to meet one of their therapists and promptly begin their individualized plan. A typical day will consist of morning therapy including an AM snack, followed by lunch and social play. Afternoon therapy includes a PM snack followed by dismissal at 4:30 PM each day. After hours therapy is available at all locations until 5:30 PM. More detailed information can be provided during your tour or at the initial evaluation. Parents also receive a parent manual outlining schedules and other important information at the beginning of services.
There is a daily two hour minimum time frame for center based therapy programs.
All programs are overseen by a behavior analyst including all behavior consulting services that are done directly with you or your child. We strive to provide 1 hour of behavior consulting for every 10 hours of therapy provided as recommended by the international Behavior Analyst Certification Board, but it can vary based upon need and authorization. All of our therapists are in the process of becoming or are Registered Behavior Technicians as outlined by the international Behavior Analyst Certification Board. All staff go through a multi step interview process and full Indiana State Police criminal background check as well. As Safety of your most child is our #1 priority, all of our facilities are electronically secure and require all visitors to be allowed in by a Team Leader/Branch Manager. We have alarms and security cameras at each location as well to ensure your child is safe at all times.
We build each program individualized to your child as they are unique and special in so many ways. We are here as Indiana’s largest and longest ABA provider to make a difference in the lives of children and their families affected by autism and other special needs. We look forward to meeting you and your child soon.
