Role: Manager of Revenue Cycle
Story: I have been in healthcare for over 30 years, started in medical registration, then obtained a Certified Medical Assistant Degree from PCI(1998). I advanced to Practice Management with a Associates Degree in Business from Indiana Wesleyan(1996) I became a certified coder through the AAPC in 1998 with subsequent coding certificates of OBGC, CPMA, ICD-10 Proficiency, and AAPC Fellow. I am currently the President of our AAPC Greenwood Chapter. My background is strong in healthcare practice management and revenue cycle.
My Heart: I love healthcare because I can help people in need. It is challenging but a very rewarding field. It is forever changing which motivates my internal drive to learn everything possible so I can assist those who don't have the ability to keep up with the changes, especially in the insurance industry.
