Your Role: Enrollment Director
Your Story: Jane happens to have an 18 year old daughter with autism and has been a community leader since her daughter's diagnosis of autism at age 6. With a diagnosis of autism for her daughter, she found that there was not much information let alone support in the local community in Hamilton County. Jane began a support group in 2005 which then became the largest group in the state at one point and formed it into a non-profit Hamilton County Autism Support Group. Jane then joined Applied Behavior Center for Autism as the Admissions Director. Jane left ABC and started a magazine called Autism Companion with publisher Indianapolis Business Journal, a great magazine in which over fifty percent of the content stories where actually written by those with autism. Jane has been instrumental in bringing in key autism speakers such as Temple Grandin and Holly Robinson-Peete to the local market for families to connect and learn. Jane is a trained IEP Advocate and has been helping families with their child's school IEP's for over 10 years. Jane has helped consult with many families and collaborates with business and individuals with disabilities in helping them find employment as time permits. Jane resides in Noblesville with her two daughters, Taylor 18 and Ally age 17.
