Role: Program Coordinator, Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Story: Kristen graduated from Michigan State University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. She began working with the Indiana Department of Child Services with a focus on Child Protective Services. Kristen found this work rewarding, but also wanted additional experience before choosing a career. She worked in several other positions, including providing direct care services to children on an Autism Care and Extended Supports unit. This led Kristen to pursue the master’s degree at Ball State University. Kristen graduate from Ball State University in 2015, and began working in an ABA clinic shortly after. Kristen became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in August 2016 and began working with ABC in September 2017.
Heart: I love working with families and seeing improvements in children’s behavior, not only in the clinic, but in the home. I enjoy teaching parents how to implement behavior change procedures in their home, in a way that works for them. It’s really rewarding when parents experience the positive effects of ABA in their home life.
