Description:

Occupational Therapists provide occupational therapy by providing rehabilitative services collaboratively with our other clinical staff and patients within our clinical settings.

Responsibilities:
Provides skilled occupational therapy evaluations and treatments with use of a proxy (behavior tech or parent) via telehealth.

  • Internet connection for provision of remote/telehealth therapy.
  • Competence with personal computers, software, and Google Applications
  • Desired qualifications include experience working with children of all ages and abilities. Applicants will be responsible for one-to-one speech therapy services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental delays ages 3 and up within our clinic setting.
  • Preferred experience working with AAC Devices
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with other SLPs and clinical staff
  • Learn the methods and associated terminology of applied behavior analysis and verbal behavior
  • Provide evidence-based practice speech and language therapy and incorporate and incorporate the science of behavior analysis in your therapy delivery and teaching of children with autism and other developmental disorders
  • Perform evaluations using standardized, criterion referenced, observation, and dynamic assessment
  • Clinical Certificate of Competence

  • Ability to work independently and remotely, but also in collaboration with a team.
  • Documentation Skills, scheduling, verbal and written communication, patient and customer service skills, teamwork, use of medical technology, and dependability.
  • Must provide a full Indiana State Police Criminal Background Check.
  • Must maintain and be a licensed OT in Indiana.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30a-4:30p
